Thank you for taking the time to complete our application materials. We appreciate your interest in our firm and the work we do with independent schools.
After a careful review of your application, we regret to inform you that we are unable to assist you in your search for a position at an independent school. This decision is usually based on a number of factors stemming from the hiring needs demonstrated to us by our client schools.
The competition to break into independent school work is intense and requires us to select those candidates whose backgrounds and professional experience most closely match the specific needs our client schools express.
Please keep in mind this letter is intended only to communicate our inability to assist you based on the present hiring conditions. It is not meant to suggest that you will not be able to find a position at an independent school.
People enter independent education in a variety of ways. Our website (www.carneysandoe.com) provides a variety of independent school links that you may find helpful. You also may want to consult the Porter Sargent Handbook of Private Schools and the Peterson’s Guide to Independent Secondary Schools.
